 There is no piece of jewellery that speaks of love better then Presentosa.                                                     

The Presentosa is a jewel set in gold or silver that traditionally the man, whether in the role of a boyfriend or husband or father, was donated to the woman. In fact, the jewelry is characterized by a typical star shape that contains inside, placed on a lace filigree, one, or two hearts. 

The pendant, with a single heart was given by the father to the unmarried daughters, the one with two hearts to girlfriends in the pledge of marriage, and the one with two hearts with crescent to the wife of the husband.Even today, the Presentosa is created by the artists orphans in abruzzo with the same process: weaving, one by one, a double metal wire, thus creating filegrees refined and precious.

Next, the characteristic hearts in the center of the Presentosa have been inserted in the time other symbols such as the boat, the key and the starfish. The first Presentose were made to Agnone (which until 1811, was in the abruzzo region) and in Guardiagrele. Subsequently, this particular process is widespread, particularly in the area frentana, and the peligna in Aquila, the capital region. Currently, beautiful and refined Presentose are made by masters of the art of the goldsmith in Sulmona, Pescocostanzo, Scanno and Guardiagrele.
