At this time of year and thanks to the arrival of Christmas we are attracted by the typical atmosphere of mountain landscapes.

The inspiration for this board comes directly from a small town of L'Aquila, Castel del Monte.

The details reflect the cold and snowy winters when nature sleeps under a white blanket and it's nice to warm up in the company around a fireplace. So here's a bouquet of roses and pinecones, and placeholder table  with the scent of cinnamon sticks.

The wedding cake? A typical cake with almonds and chocolate called "Parrozzo", so sweet that famous poet Gabriele D'Annunzio wrote a madrigale "La Canzone del Parrozzo”.
